| For The Children Brazil Inc.
was founded in 2007 by Alex and Erika Piagetti after returning from a
trip to Fortaleza, Brazil. The trip was to confirm the burden of
serving the needy children of Fortaleza in whatever way the Lord Jesus
Christ lead. During this trip we experienced many divine
appointments. One was a friendly relationship with JOCUM or
Youth With A Mission Brazil and their work already started with the
children of Fortaleza. As well as, Wagner and Gege, a couple
living in the slum Moura Brazil who had a burden to start a
surf school for the kids in the slum. As God guided, He provided
and now there are many children off the streets after school and
learning how to surf. At the community center where the surf
school is held, Bible study is also offered three times a week.
English classes, crocheting and other activities are offered to give
these children a brighter future. Unlike many other children's
organizations, our main priority is to provide these children with the
saving love of Jesus and the opportunity to make a lifelong commitment
to serving HIm. Through Calvary Chapel of
Miami Beach, Alex Piagetti leads short-term mission trips into the
slum to first hand tell these children about Jesus, then serve them and provide for their basic
needs like toiletries, school supplies, food, clothing and any other
things that may be donated. |
