| The Vision of For
The Children Brazil is first and foremost to honor
and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom we have willingly become
bond slaves because of the great gift of salvation that His death and
resurrection offer to all who believe.
For The Childen Brazil is
dedicated to providing a hopeful future free of drugs, prostitution
and crime to the children in Fortaleza, Brazil. FTC Brazil
supports the ongoing efforts of dedicated volunteers and local
missionaries in loving and serving the slum children through bible
study, after school activities without neglecting their basic
necessities like: food and clothing.
Only The Lord Jesus knows
exactly what the future holds for For The Children Brazil, but our
plans are to carry the love and salvation of Jesus to all the at-risk
youth of the slums in Brazil.
During our family
mission trip in 2008, we clearly heard the call to set up a camp for
the kids in the many slums of Fortaleza. This need was confirmed
by the YWAM leaders already working with these children. This
camp will include "team cabins", sports, crafts, and daily chapel
services directed to their needs and situation in life.
Experiencing God in a way that gives them hope and a reality to living
a life glorifying Him is what this camp will be about. |
