Fortaleza is located in the State of Ceara.
Ceara is located in the northeastern corner of Brazil. It is the
Brazilian State nearest Europe and North America. For centuries, the economy of Ceara was based on
three factors: agriculture of subsistence; the cattle raising, in the
interior lands of the State; and the production of salt, in the
eastern coast of the State. With more than 3 million people, Fortaleza
is the fifth largest metropolitan area in Brazil and unfortunately
rated the worst city for child prostitution in the whole country.
This is where God has called us to rescue these exploited children and
give them an eternal hope while meeting there legitimate needs. |
